  1. I was there. Me and my best friend drank a fifth of tequila in the parking lot to warm up before the show. Very hot inside Graffiti. Took a few cold beers and iced down the (ample) boobs of the chick standing behind me...it was that kind of show. We were right in front of the stage and my buddy took his shirt off and started swinging it over his head during Left Of The Dial. It clipped Paul's mic stand just as the song ended and landed in the audience. Roadies were not happy and we hot footed out of there. What a night. Had enormous noise and alcohol hangover for about 3 days. Good times...good times.

    1. Nice. I saw The Godfathers there in '88 I think. If I remember correctly, the stage was barely knee high and you could stand literally right in front of the band.

  2. Great show. Hot, humid, sweaty, drunken, perfect. I was standing center of balcony. Hard core fan who jumped on the Let It Be bandwagon, had never seen them until this tour. One of my favorite shows in 300+ 45years! Drunken, messy, but not to the point you would have any reason to complain, it was as stated...perfect way to see 'mats. Wish I could obtain this bootleg.

    ((I saw Godfathers' show too!))

  3. There has never been a better show at Graffiti than the Mats on that smoking evening in August. The bar ran out of beer and my crew was zinging, switching to cocktails! The floor was rocking and Rob H. and the Clarks were in position for an amazing show. I got a bootleg cassette of the show at Jim's Records in Bloomfield, poor quality but the best of memories.
