  7. The date is correct. My band Shanghai Dog (Vancouver, BC) also played this show. During "Hitchin' A Ride" Westerberg's guitar strap unhooked and he was standing on one leg propping up his guitar, trying to play and sing. I jumped on stage to strap him back up and as I did that he grabbed me around the neck, shoved the mic in my face and we sang the refrain. Funniest show of our tour.
