If This was the show with openers the Neats, IfThenWhy, then the Mats and headliners Code Of Honor, the Mats were intense, focused and fiery drawing people out from the theater lobby inside to see what was going on. They completed dominated the night that half through the headliner's set, the place had thinned considerably. Thank you for your archive.

    1. Meant to write "completely dominated"...sometimes they were silly (a later show at the smaller I-Beam on Haight Street exemplified this aspect) but other times, watching them, all shook up. I didn't know who they were but that night at the On Broadway I became a fan for my life.

  2. I saw them at this, have some photos I took, esp. of Tommy. Saw them a couple/few nights before at the Berkeley Square where they were absolutely incredible. At the On Broadway the crowd wasn't as into it and their set was much shorter.
    Makes sense it was Code Of Honor and not X, I think I'd remember if X played. (Code Of Honor was local, and I believe I had seen them before)
