  3. I was at this show, and almost every Chicago show. This one was special to me because my friend and I went to the lobby to use the pay phone after the opener and we realized Bob was using the pay phone next to us. If I remember correctly, The band took the stage and Bob was still on the phone. Eventually he walked through the audience to get to the stage. At least that's how my 16-year-old mind remembers it.

They seemed to take their Chicago shows seriously. I don't remember any show that was a drunken mess in Chicago.

  4. I was there too! I remember distinctly Bob draining Becks beer, and by the end of the show there were at least 12 bottles of empty beer that were kicked around while soloing. I remember Chris Mars being late to the stage, but could be wrong. One of the best rock and roll shows I've ever seen. And I've been to lots.
